Almost 94% of Kazakhstani people have positive attitude towards representatives of other ethnic groups

Astana. June 29. KazTAG - Almost 94% of Kazakhstani people have a positive attitude towards representatives of other ethnic groups, indicates draft concept of development of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
“According to the sociological monitoring of public opinion conducted by the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Research in 2020-2021, the “basic core” of stability in interethnic relations remains at the level of 94% in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The idea of polyethnicity is shared by 88.3% of our citizens. 93.7% of the population of the republic have a positive attitude towards representatives of other ethnic groups,” reads the report.
As noted, "citizens generally support the state policy to preserve interethnic harmony, and the level of such support is 85.9%."
