Area of bird flu spread increased in North Kazakhstan region

Petropavlovsk. September 17. KazTAG - The number of areas affected by the bird flu in the North Kazakhstan region has increased to seven, Kazakhstan has already notified the World Organization for Animal Health about outbreak, reports the  Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
“In seven districts of the North Kazakhstan region (Timiryazevskiy, Tayynshinskiy, Zhambylskiy, Kyzylzharskiy, Shal akyn, named after G. Musrepov, named after M. Zhumabayev),poultry of various species died from September 9 through 16. The National Reference Center has determined that highly pathogenic bird influenza was the cause of the death, ” said the report.
Kazakhstan has already notified the World Organization for Animal Health about the outbreak.
