Arrest of British native accused of minors corruption prolonged by 1 month
Uralsk. April 18. KazTAG - The arrest of British citizen Peter Baroh, detained on charges of corrupting minors, has been extended until May 4.
"The arrest has been extended by a month due to the fact that it is necessary to complete the investigations and to translate the files in English ," said Gulmira Kenzhegaliyeva, press secretary of the Western Kazakhstan regional court.
As reported, on January 14 in a hotel room of Uralsk, where Baroh was staying, police found electronic media with photographs of young schoolgirls. On February 7 Baroh was detained for three days and on February 10 Ural city court satisfied the claim of DIA investigator for 2 months arrest.
Initially, the police opened a criminal case under the article 273 of the Criminal Code (production and distribution of materials with pornographic images of minors ) . Later, another criminal case under the article 124 Part 3 ( corruption of minors committed repeatedly ) was opened.
Psychological and psychiatric examination has been appointed for Baroh and schoolgirls . The Court will take the place in Uralsk.
