He thanked President Sadyr Japarov for the opportunity to return to his homeland and the leadership of the State Committee for National Security for receiving him "with cordiality."
“Naturally, there are questions, I conducted the first interrogation, answered questions. I came to tell you sincerely how we built Kumtor, why we built Kumtor, what mistakes were made, - about everything,” he added.
