“Police officers have prevented an attempt to steal cash from a branch of a second-tier bank in Almaty. The crime was committed at night. An unknown man entered the building through a window and tried to get to the cash desk. However, the attacker was unable to break the armored glass. Realizing the futility of his actions, he left the scene. As a result of operational and investigative measures carried out by the criminal police department together with operatives from the Zhetysu district, the suspect was identified,” said the police.
The suspect was a 32-year-old man who was detained.
