“More than 25 pre-trial investigations are being conducted following the events in the Korday district of the Zhambyl region. These criminal cases concern riots and calls for them, murders, hooliganism, violence, as well life attempt on the police officers. The interdepartmental and departmental investigation groups have been created including the investigators of the National Security Committee, the Agency for Corruption Combat, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Economic Investigation Agency," said the message.
The department noted that interdepartmental and departmental investigation groups are headed by special prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office, as well as experienced investigators from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Security Committee.
