Authorities in regions understate incomes plans - Smailov

Astana. February 11. KazTAG - The income plans have been over-fulfilled in all the regions of Kazakhstan due to their understatement, said Alikhan Smailov, First Deputy Prime Minister- Minister of Finance.
"Income plans have been over-fulfilled in all the regions. The reason is in understated plans in the first months of the financial year in comparison to the factual results of the same period last year," said Smailov at the session of the Government.
In his words, over-fulfillment of the plan was also influenced by the inclusion of corporate income tax (CIT) from small and medium businesses in local budget revenues. He noted that in the reporting period, this tax brought 27 bn tenge in the reporting period.
The CIT plan was over-fulfilled by 10 billion, however, compared with January 2019, the volume of revenues decreased by 17 billion tenge. The decrease in revenues was influenced by decrease in prices in the metallurgical industry: for iron, steel, ferroalloys - by 3.8%, precious and non-ferrous metals - in average by 5.6%.
