Aviation administration of Kazakhstan completed unplanned inspection of Bek Air company

Almaty. February 27. KazTAG - The aviation administration of Kazakhstan has completed the unplanned check of Bek Air company, reports the civil aviation committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development.
"The aviation administration of Kazakhstan has completed the unplanned inspection of compliance with safety and security rules by Bek Air JSC,  conducted jointly with the main transport prosecutor's office. The audit covers organization of flight operation, airworthiness, de-icing procedures, compliance with safety  standards, " reads the statement.
The ministry reminded that on January 20, the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan reported the interim results of the audit and revealed violations.
“Then gross violations of the operating procedures of aircraft engines were revealed that do not allow us to identify their origin, the operating time of their units and records of defects. There were damages to the fuselage and other parts of the aircraft, fake documents were issued about their maintenance and repair. The airline did not ensure that the engineering service and the crew complied with the mandatory procedure for tactile check of the wings before the flight to detect icing, which was required by the Fokker Operation Manual. In general, it was clear that the airline’s safety management system did not meet the requirements of the law, " reads the statement.
