AZhC to compensate damages to consumers for burnt household appliances following lockout in Almaty

Almaty. July 16. KazTAG - Alatau Zharyk Company (AZhC) will compensate damage to the consumers for the burnt devices following the lockout in Almaty, said Nurzhan Adilbekov, deputy head engineer, AZhC.
"After the investigation is over, when the cause is confirmed, legal structures will start working on this issue. AZhC has lawyers, jointly with the specialists they will sort it out and the damage will be compensated (for burnt appliances following the failure-KazTAG)," he said at the press-conference.
As it was reported, Almaty and a part of Almaty region experienced electricity cut-off on July 15 at 14.30. The failure was in the networks of AZhC.
