Bagdat Manzorov relieved of post of deputy akim of Almaty region

Taldykorgan. February 10. KazTAG - Bagdat Manzorov has been relieved of the post of deputy akim of the Almaty region, reports the press-service of akim.
"Bagdat Manzorov has been relieved of the post on his own wish. In the period of his work, he performed professionalism and skilful management. Good work was done in the restoration of Arys. He made a contribution in the sector of gasification. I wish him all the best," said Amandyk Batalov, akim of the Almaty region.
Manzorov was appointed as a deputy akim of the Almaty region in July 2019, he was responsible for housing-communal complex, business and tourism.
KazTAG reported about detention of Manzorov on September 26 by the anti-corruption agency on suspicion of bribery.
Later it was revealed that he was charged with the violations in the time of his management of the department of state architectural-construction control of Almaty.
Manzorov was relieved of criminal prosecution on October 29, on October 30 Marat Akhmetzhanov, deputy prosecutor general, said the officers of anti-corruption agency will be brought to liability for Manzorovs' detention. However, on October 31 the agency for corruption combat said it opposed termination of the criminal case in respect of Manzorov, while on November 13 Alik Shpekbayev, head of anti-corruption agency, said the agency did not change its position in Manzorov's case.
It was reported on November 20 that the general prosecutor's office refused to satisfy the appeal of anti-corruption agency of Manzorov case, while on November 21 it was reported that anti-corruption agency did not exclude an appeal on Manzorov case. Olzhas Bektenov, first deputy head of the agency for corruption combat, said they had all the evidences on the case on November 27, but on December 30 Akhemtzhanov, deputy prosecutor general, said the anti-corruption agency  did not appeal termination of the case.
