Balayeva about protest actions in Astana: In desperation, people take extreme measures
Astana. October 9. KazTAG - In desperation, people tend to take extreme measures, said Aida Balayeva, Aides to the President of Kazakhstan.
“The administration of Nur-Sultan is one of the leaders on incoming appeals of citizens. So, since the beginning of this year, it has received more than 3 thousand appeals, 800 of them have been taken under control by the presidential administration. (...) There have been complaints about the lack of feedback, impossibility to get through and make an appointment. In desperation, people are taking extreme measures. For instance, on September 7, Mrs. Serikbayeva went to the square in front of the Akorda. The reason was inaction of the district akimat. She needed advice how to get targeted social aid in case of the loan repayment, but did not receive it. The situation happened due to irresponsible attitude of the officials of the district akimat, an ordinary question grew into a public protest in front of the main building of the country, ” Balayeva said at the session on development of the capital.
She marked it is important to work on every single appeal; people need clear information about the programs and work conducted by the administration.
