Belarus is going to buy grain in Kazakhstan
Astana. October 24. KazTAG - Belarus is going to buy grain in Kazakhstan, said Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan.
"Cattle breeding is highly developed in Kazakhstan, at the same time we are a zone of risky agriculture, thus, we are going to buy grain from you to develop cattle breeding," said Lukashenko in the interview to Kazakhstani mass media.
He said Belarus lacks of flint wheat.
"Yes, we need about 50-70 thousand tons of flint wheat. Although we have our production, we need this wheat for some types of products," he added.
He said Belarus plans to boost export of agricultural products which amount $5-6 bn annually.
"We aspire to reach $7 bn and we are ready to increase shipments, including to Kazakhstan," he said.
