Belarus to eliminate barriers for grain export on EAEU market

Almaty. April 9. KazTAG - Belarus is taking measures to eliminate the barriers on the grain market, reports the Eurasian Economic Commission.
"Belarus has informed the Eurasian Economic Commission that the ministry of agriculture and food industry of Belarus has been ordered to provide introduction of the draft decision on cancellation of the order of the Government of Belarus dated August 16 2020 N 1205 "On some measures for regulation of market of certain types of agricultural products and processing", reads the message.
A commission has been created for regulation of the market of agricultural and processing products.
"It is authorized to issue permits for export, including in the EAEU states for grain, processing products, feed-stuff, flax fiber,  rapeseed oil and beet molasses ”, the message reports.
The EEC had reported that the EEC informed Belarus about the need to cancel the permitting procedure for grain sale to EAEU states. Such a decision is due to the fact that Belarus applies excessive measures to regulate the grain market, which are not provided for by the Union's law.
