Big channel of drugs and weapons trafficking suppressed in Kazakhstan
Astana. July 25. KazTAG - A big channel of drugs and weapons trafficking has been suppressed in Kazakhstan, reports the National Security Committee.
"The NSC RK has suppressed a criminal group trafficking weapons in Almaty, Shymkent and Kyzylorda (...). A big channel of weapons supply to the territory of Kazakhstan has been liquidated. Arrangements are being conducted for withdrawal of weapons sold by the criminals," reads the report.
The police discovered sale of eight Kolashnikov gun machines and two pistols, the weapons have been withdrawn.
"The special operation was held in Almaty and Shymkent on July 18 and 19. Some group members were the followers of destructive religious flows. Police discovered equipment and tools for assembly and transformation of weapons at the place of their residence," reads the report.
