“The Specialized Interdistrict Court for Criminal Cases of the Pavlodar region has passed a verdict of guilty on the fact of raping of a minor (paragraph 1 of part 3-1 of article 120. The court found that on June 7, 2020, in the summer houses village "Miner" he raped a minor born in 2006," said the press service of the Specialized Interdistrict Criminal Court of the Pavlodar region.
The prosecutor asked to sentence the man to 15 years in prison. The defendant pleaded not guilty and asked to acquit him.
The defendant's guilt was proved by the testimony of the minor victim and her mother, witnesses, and expert opinions.
The 40-year-old blogger from Ekibastuz was detained on suspicion of sexual abuse in September.
