Border service started restricting Russians from travelling to Kazakhstan

Almaty. September 26. KazTAG - Border service  started restricting entry of Russians to Kazakhstan, reports the Russian edition of Baza.
“The border service began to prohibit Russians entering the country, said lawyer Pavel Chikov,” said the message.
The publication also attached copies of two notices of the need to appear at the military registration and enlistment office, issued at the Russian border checkpoints Ozinki and Zverinogolovskoye, both of which are located on the border with Kazakhstan.
The flow of Russian citizens wishing to enter Kazakhstan increased sharply after the announcement of partial mobilization there on September 21 against the backdrop of the retreat of Russian troops from the previously occupied regions of Ukraine. On September 23, the border service of the NSC reported that they had taken special control of the situation at the border. As of September 23, more than 1.6 million Russian citizens have entered Kazakhstan since the beginning of 2022.
