Botanic garden 100 hectares large to be created in Astana
Astana. May 15. KazTAG - A botanic garden almost 100 hectares large will be created in Astana, reports the official site of Astana akimat.
"One of perspective projects implemented at EXPO-2017 exhibition will be a botanic garden with a park zone which will be located at 97 hectares territory near 24, 26, Kabanbay street and Turkistan," reads the department of communal economy.
Transport and pedestrian schemes connected with the garden scheme will be crated within the frameworks of the project.
The garden will be divided into 6 complexes. Two park zone, entry with fountains, botanic garden on the open ground (representing the nature of Kazakhstan) and a botanic garden with cascade greenhouses "Mediterranean forest", "Asian landscape”, “Garden of land and mother", "Tropical greenhouse" and gardens "Iran", "Spain", "Japan", England", France", "Italy", "China", “Egypt" and an artificial lake and separate water reservoirs for water plants.
The first construction stage will finish until the end of the year. The second stage will be implemented in 2014-2016.
