Branch of Central Asia-China gasmain launched
Almaty. June 2. KazTAG - Central Asia-China gasmain has been launched on the territoryof Uzbekistan, reports the Xinhua news agency.
According to the Chinese national oil corporation the C branch of Central Asia-China gasmain has been put in the parallel with the A and the B line which are totally 1830 km long, the capacity makes 25 bln cu m a year, of them 10 bln cu m will come from Turkmenistan, 10 bln- from Uzbekistan, 5 bln- from Kazakhstan.
The C line starts at the border district between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and runs through Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan to China.
The construction started in September 2012, the whole line was put in late 2013.
Currently the annual volume of gas shipment via the C line makes 7 bln cu m. It is planned to reach 25 bln cu m in late 2015, the total capacity of the gasmain Central-Asia-China will increase to 55 bln cu m.
