Businessman Michael Wirth promised Tokayev to increase number of citizens of Kazakhstan in Tengizchevroil
Astana. September 4. KazTAG - Michael Wirth, chairman of the board and chief executive officer (CEO) of Chevron, promised Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan to increase the number of the citizens of Kazakhstan working in Tengizchevroil, reports Akorda.
"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received Michael Wirth, chairman of the board and chief executive officer (CEO) of Chevron. Michael Wirth emphasized that Kazakhstan has been an important partner of his company. The American businessman highly estimated professionalism of the management of Tengizchevroil, affiliated company, whose staff is 77% represented by the citizens of Kazakhstan. According to Wirth this index will be growing along with strengthening of mutual cooperation," reports Akorda.
The parties have discussed performance of projects in hydrocarbons sector and prospects of interaction of Kazakhstan and Chevron. They have considered opportunities of new investments.
