Capital of Kazakhstan's insurance companies increased by T73 billion in Q1, 2025

Astana. October 29. KazTAG – The capital of Kazakhstan's insurance companies increased by T73 billion to T1.09 trillion in the first quarter of 2025, reports the National Bank.
“The capital of Kazakhstan's insurance companies increased by T73 billion to T1.09 trillion in the first quarter, compared to the end of 2024. Moreover, the capital of life insurance companies increased by T59 billion, and the capital of general insurance companies by T13 billion,” reads the report posted on the official website.
According to the document, the assets of insurance companies increased by T82 billion to T2.97 trillion in the first quarter of 2025: the assets of life insurance companies increased by T59 billion to T1.68 trillion, and the assets of general insurance companies increased by T24 billion to T1.29 trillion.
The liabilities of insurance companies as of April 1, 2025 increased by only T10 billion to T1.88 trillion.
