Cargo transportation volume decreased in the EAEU in January-July

Almaty. September 23. KazTAG - The volume of cargo transportation decreased in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in January-July, reports the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
"The volume of freight traffic in the EAEU in January-July 2021 amounted to 6.7 billion tons and, compared to January-July 2020, decreased by 0.2%," reads the message.
4.6 billion tons of cargo out of 6.7 billion tons were transported by road.
The volume of passenger traffic amounted to 10 billion people, which is 7.7% less than in January-July 2020.
