Astana. January 22. KazTAG - The cars with Armenian and Kyrgyz plates are considered as foreign goods in Kazakhstan, said Zhanel Kushukova, Vice Minister of Trade and Integration.
"These cars have a status of foreign goods in compliance with the agreement on entry of Kyrgyzstan and Armenia in the Eurasian Economic Union. In compliance with the customs code when goods are imported under lower rates, in customs clearance they get "provisional release"," she said.
In her words, in this case the owners cannot resell or encumber these goods.
"In order to transfer these cars from foreign goods into the goods of the Customs Union they must be fully cleared in the customs, the owners must pay the customs fee under the rates of the uniform Customs code," she said.
