Cash volume decreased by 5.7% in March - NB
Almaty. April 25. KazTAG - Cash volume decreased by 5.7% in Kazakhstan in March 2014 to 1.319 trln tenge, reports the National Bank.
M1 monetary indicator, including all the cash and liquid tenge deposits increased by 3.5% in March to 3.461 trln tenge.
M2 indicator which includes cash, tenge and liquid currency deposits increased by 0.5% to 8.929 trln tenge.
The monetary mass or all the money in the economy increased by 2.9% to 12.796 trln tenge.
The monetary base, or the money of the National Bank, increased by 5.2% to 3.408 trln tenge. In narrow terms the monetary base increased by 5% to 3.38 trln tenge.
The deposits of second tier banks and other organizations on the accounts of the National Bank increased by 18.4% to 1.855 bln tenge.
