Astana. October 22 . KazTAG - A channel of illegal migration of Afghan citizens was liquidated on the border of Kazakhstan, reports the press service of the border service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan.
“The NSC Border Service, together with the Almaty prosecutor's office, stopped the channel of illegal migration of Afghan citizens through the territory of Kazakhstan on October 13,” reads the report.
A foreign citizen was detained while receiving money in the amount of $1.5 thousand for the provision of a fake passport of one of the Central Asian countries.
Police confiscated seals of several Kazakh organizations, 20 Afghan passports, birth certificates and other documents that are the basis for obtaining citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, residence permits, registration and extension of stay in the country.
