Citizen of Kazakhstan arrested in India for using fake air ticket
Almaty. February 4. KazTAG - A citizen of Kazakhstan has been arrested in the international airport named after Indira Ghandi using a fake air ticket for entering the departure zone, reports BusinessStandart.
The man from Kazakhstan was arrested on Sunday, who was, presumably, using a fake ticket for entering the departure zone.
“The man was stopped and interrogated when leaving the terminal. He told the security officers that he used the canceled ticket to enter the terminal area in order to see off his friend who was leaving for Tashkent. Subsequently, the detainee was taken to the police, and he was charged with a crime as his ticket had a fake travel document, ” reads the publication.
According to the aviation security regulations of India, a passenger is allowed to enter the terminals of the airport’s departure area only for boarding and is not allowed to leave the terminal.
