"46 years old citizen of Nigeria came to work after holidays, he felt weak and applied to a private medical center. The lab tests confirmed malaria. The man has undergone a course of treatment in the private clinic and is going to be discharged," said Temirbek Musagaliyev, head of department of health care preservation in the Atyrau region.
He added that malaria does not transmit from human to human. However, the carrier can be the Anopheles malaria mosquito, which live in certain regions of the country.
