Citizens of Uzbekistan will enter Kazakhstan on new documents since 2016
Almaty. January 12. KazTAG - The citizens of Uzbekistan will need biometric passports for adults and IDs for people below 16 since 2016 to enter Kazakhstan, reports "Kazakhstanskaya Pravda" newspaper.
"The agreement on the order of stay of citizens of Kazakhstan on the territory of Uzbekistan and the citizens of Uzbekistan on the territory of Kazakhstan is being ratified. From our side the list of documents hasn't changed, from Uzbek side a new diplomatic biometric passport and a national passport is needed and also an ID for people aged below 16," said Serik Sainov, head of migration police department of Kazakhstan.
He added the old documents for entrance of Uzbekistan citizens to Kazakhstan will be valid until late 2015.
