Collective immunity of Almaty residents to coronavirus makes 23%, 18% of residents are vaccinated - Bekshin

Almaty. June 18. KazTAG - The collective immunity of Almaty residents to coronavirus infection (CVI) makes 23%, 18% of residents are vaccinated, said Zhandarbek Bekshin,  chief sanitary doctor of Almaty.
“In Almaty, during the coronavirus epidemic, the population has formed an immune layer to COVID-19. 23% of the city inhabitants are immune to coronavirus. Currently, out of 23% of Almaty residents protected from coronavirus, 18% are vaccinated and 5% have recovered, ” he said.
According to him, as of June 16, 357 299 people received the vaccine in Almaty.
