Commander of road patrol squadron detained for 150 000 tenge bribe in Pavlodar
Pavlodar. May 5. KazTAG - Commander of road patrol service has been detained for 150 000 tenge bribe in Pavlodar, said the regional department of the financial police .
"The department (...) has opened a criminal case against the commander of road patrol police in Pavlodar region. He is accused of taking bribes in the amount of 150 thousand tenge from the representative of an organization engaged in the construction of the bridge "Pavlodar - Aksu," said the police department.
The bribe allegedly provided free passage of cargo trucks through suburban village Leninsky to the construction site in Karabay settlement.
" The investigation revealed that the defendant in the group with unidentified officials extorted money in the amount of 150 thousand tenge , and demanded to transfer a specified amount on a monthly basis," said police representatives.
