"A commission has been created jointly with the committee for control of safety of goods and services of Kazakhstan which includes the representatives of top medical institutions and independent experts. The check will reveal the causes and circumstances of this lethal case. The department expresses sincere condolences, the fact are being controlled by the city authorities," said the statement.
The department has not confirmed that the child died because of vaccination.
A newborn died in the prenatal center in Almaty. According to the parents, the child was born healthy but complications started after vaccination.
