"The Parliament committee on order, combat with criminality and corruption has approved the recommendation of the General Prosecutor's Office on withdrawal of the immunity from ex-president Almazbek Atambayev. Now this issue will be presented to consideration of the chamber of Zhogorku Kenesh whose session will be held on Wednesday. If the Parliament approves the immunity withdrawal from Atambayev, the case will be transferred to the Prosecutor's Office for procedural decisions," reads the message.
The deputies’ commission of Zhogorku Kenesh made a list of six episodes for the immunity withdrawal. The commission approved five episodes which are liable to opening of criminal cases against Atambayev.
