Conflict at Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan border: citizen of Kyrgyzstan injured
Almaty. March 14. KazTAG - A citizen of Kyrgyzstan has been injured in the conflict at the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan which involved about 200 inhabitants of the bordering villages, reports KyrTAG.
"A conflict occurred in Kozhogar locality between the inhabitants of Aksay village of Batkensk district of Kyrgyzstan and Mekhnatabad village of Tajikistan. The cause of the conflict was construction of the detour road Aksay-Tamdyk in the Batkensk region. About 200 inhabitants of the bordering villages of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan gathered at the board and threw stones in each other. A citizen of Kyrgyzstan was injured and taken to hospital," reads the message.
