“The investigation into the case of a conspiracy of security forces and their accomplices continues in secrecy. The goal was to remove the country's leadership and discredit it in the eyes of the world community. The conspirators used professional fighters to create chaos in Almaty, to instill fear in people, to destabilize the situation in the country,” he said.
He noted that individual officials united and sought to seize power in order to create lawlessness.
He marked among those who tried to carry out a coup were well-known figures in high positions who sought to seize power, and among the participants in the conspiracy were military officials who gave false data, as a rest the head to state had to turn to the CSTO for help.
“I assure you that all those responsible for these tragic events will be punished, no matter what positions they held,” he added.
