Consumer loans fell in price in October in Kazakhstan

Astana. November 28. KazTAG - Interest rates on short-term loans issued by banks for consumer purposes to the population decreased in October by 0.9% to 14.1%, said the National Bank.
“Interest rates on short-term loans issued by banks for consumer purposes to the population decreased in October by 0.9%: from 15% to 14.1%,” reads the report.
According to the report, the average rate on loans decreased by 0.7%, from 18.6% to 17.9%.
The issuance of consumer loans to the population in October 2022 increased by 1.2% or by KZT9 billion, to KZT745 billion.
