Coronavirus rate hits 170 thousand in Kazakhstan

Astana. January 19. KazTAG - 170 thousand people  have contracted COVID-19 (CVI +) in Kazakhstan, 46 866 people fell ill with pneumonia with signs of coronavirus infection (CVI-), said the Ministry of Health.
“From March 13, 2020 to January 19, 2021, CVI +: morbidity - 170 098 (999 over the past day), mortality - 2423 (seven over the past day); from August 1, 2020 to January 19, 2021 CVI-: morbidity - 46 866 (18 over the past day), mortality - 542 (two over the past day) ", reads the report.
According to the Ministry of Health, at the moment 24 894 people continue getting treatment for CVI (13 226 CVI + and 11 668 CVI-), 6485 patients are in hospitals, and 18 409 patients are at the outpatient level.
