Court verdict on case of sexual abuse on Talgo train to be studied for legality and justice
Astana. July 29. KazTAG - The court's verdict concerning sexual abuse on Talgo train will be studied for legality and justice, said Yernat Sybankulov, chief transport prosecutor of Kazakhstan.
"As for the criminal cases concerning rape of a passenger on Nurly-Zhol-Aktobe train N 98, the main transport prosecutor's office reports that in the time of judicial pleading the prosecutor requested 6.6 years imprisonment for the convicts. The court has taken a different decision. The verdict is being studied for legality and justice," wrote Sybankulov in Facebook.
As it was reported, two train conductors raped a passenger travelling from Nur-Sultan to Aktobe in November 2018. The court has sentenced each of them 2.6 years imprisonment.
