Courts satisfied less than half of claims for the protection of consumer rights since January

Astana. September 22. KazTAG -  Only 306 out of 677 lawsuits for the protection of consumer rights have been satisfied by the courts since the beginning of the year, said Aslan Tukiyev, judge of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan.
“By the results of eight months of this year, the courts received about 677 claims for protection of consumer rights. Of these, 385 were considered, 306 were satisfied,  amicable agreements were concluded on 94 applications, " he said.
He pointed out that the Supreme Court supports the practice of defending the interests of an indefinite circle of consumers on systemic violations and the possibility of paying compensation for moral damage caused to a consumer without going to court.
