Credit associations increased volume of loans issued in Kazakhstan by 35.8% in 2014
Almaty. March 10. KazTAG - Credit associations increased the volume of loans issued in Kazakhstan by 35.8% to 25,8 bln tenge in 2014, reports the association of credit unions of agricultural business.
"In 2012, the amount of financing provided by the credit unions was 15.5 billion tenge, in 2013 - 19 billion tenge, in 2014 this sum reached 25.8 billion tenge," reports the press-release.
According to the message, the credit unions in rural areas of the country were established in 2001 with the support of the state through the JSC "Agrarian Credit Corporation" to provide cheap crediting to rural manufacturers.
Approximately 170 credit associations function in Kazakhstan, which unite about 11 thousand agricultural manufacturers.
