Criminal case on policeman suicide investigated in Atyrau region
Almaty. April 29. KazTAG - A criminal case on the fact of forcible suicide of Altynbek Kubaidullin, head of Isataisk district police precinct, is being investigated, said Gulnazira Mukhtarova, head of press-service of department of internal affairs.
"Yes, a criminal case has been instituted, it was sent to a special prosecutor’s office for investigation," she said.
The criminal case was instituted on the article 102 of the Criminal Code (forcible suicide).
Meanwhile, according to a source in the law enforcement bodies, the special prosecutor's office of Atyrau district opened a criminal case on the article 346 of the criminal code (deliberately mistaken detention and custody).
As reported a criminal case was opened against the policeman on April 21 accusing him of taking 250 000 tenge bribe and 3 kg of black caviar. The bribe was given for protectorship of sturgeon fishing.
During the interrogation the policeman complained about bad health and was taken to hospital. After he had received medical aid he escaped from the hospital.
