Deaf woman with big party of drugs detained on Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border
Astana. March 11. KazTAG - A dead woman with a big party of drugs has been detained on the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border, reports the national security committee of Kazakhstan.
"A service dog has identified a woman crossing the border on foot from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan on March 7. The woman is deaf; she is a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, born in 1980. In the time of inspection frontier guards discovered four polyethylene packages on the belt with dark green substance. Expertise identified the substance was narcotic - cannabis over 4 kg in weight," said the border service.
The incident occurred at Korday Auto checkpoint.
Police have identified the paymaster of the drugs trafficking - a citizen of Kazakhstan born in 1962 who offered the woman to deliver the drugs to the destination for 20 000 Kyrgyz soms (about 100 000 tenge). He was accompanying the woman in the distance.
