Demand for mortgages increased by 85% in Kazakhstan
Astana. November 24. KazTAG - The demand of individuals for mortgage crediting has grown by 85% in Kazakhstan, reports the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
“The number of applications received for mortgage lending in relation to the previous quarter increased by 85%,” reports the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
According to the report, the number of applications increased by 52% in the segment of unsecured lending.
Against the background of the disbursement of funds under the program of preferential car loans, there was an increase in demand for car loans, the number of applications increased by 109%, with a slight decrease in the average amount of loans.
Bankers indicated the increased interest of customers in loans due to implementation of deferred demand and marketing campaigns.
In the IV quarter, banks, according to the regulator, expect a slight increase in demand in all segments of retail lending. Banks' willingness to provide consumer loans will also increase slightly. Conditions for consumer lending will continue to soften in terms of the credit limit and requirements for the client's solvency.
