Deputies asked Massimov to comment on reasons of waiving 4th refinery construction
Astana. November 5. KazTAG - Majilis deputy Aikyn Konurov applied to the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan asking to clarity on waiving of the 4th refinery construction.
"The deputy request of the fraction "People's communists" is addressed to the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, it concerns the problems at the fuel market. The current program of oil and gas sector development including processing comes down to reconstruction of three plants, it has no view about effective functioning of the whole market. It has been decided to waive construction of the 4th refinery. We believe it is short-sighted, as we need a new refinery not only to increase production but also to boost our competitiveness. Today monopolization, non-transparency, inhibition of industry, artificial deficit destabilize the market," he said in his deputy request.
