Deputies claim to initiate lawsuit to benefit of passengers of crashed plane in Almaty
Astana. January 29. KazTAG - Azat Peruashev, Majilis deputy, has claimed to initiate a lawsuit to the benefit of the passengers of crashed Fokker-100 of Bek Air company in the suburbs of Almaty.
"Despite the statement of the President an hour after the tragedy saying that all the culprits will be brought to liability, we know nothing about detentions or any other sanctions in respect of workers of Bek Air or other authorized people a month after the tragedy. It looks like they will put the blame on the deceased pilots saying they saved money on anti-icing equipment. Dead people cannot defend themselves, is it fair? There should be justice at least in respect of those people who died in the catastrophe. The prosecutor's bodies should open the lawsuits in the interests of the passengers of the crashed plane in order to charge compensation for the moral damage. People must be informed about the measures taken in respect of guilty individuals," said Peruashev in his request addressed to Askar Mamin, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
He has also claimed the authorized agencies to take measures for tickets' refund for the cancelled flights by Bek Air.
