Deputies of European Parliament arrived to Aktau to check human rights observance
Almaty. April 8. KazTAG - The deputies of the European Parliament have arrived to Aktau to study observance of human rights.
"We are in Aktau now where the deputies of the European Parliament Julia Word and Antonio Stango have arrived, he is a president of Italian human rights federation," said Aigul Akberdy, political activist in the live broadcast of the meeting in the social networks.
She said the representatives of the European Parliament have come to meet the political activists to know about the situation with observance of human rights in Kazakhstan.
The activists from Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Atyrau, Karaganda were present at the meeting.
The deputies are going to learn the situation around the jailed persons, recognized as political prisoners by the European Parliament, the US State Department, and a number of international human rights organizations. Among them are Maks Bokayev, Ablovas Dzhumayev, Mukhtar Dzhakishev, Aron Atabek and a number of others.
