"Yerlan Aukenov, deputy akim of Almaty has resigned. From 2015 he was responsible for different branches, including business, housing, agriculture. Lately he worked in the field of employment, social welfare, increase of urban mobility," reads the report.
He was appointed as a deputy akim of Almaty in August 2015, two years later he left the post for the period of studies under the program "Development of cities" in August 2018 he returned to the post.
