“The number of infected people has been growing since January 15th. The elections, as we all know, were held on January 10th. If we consider the incubation period, five days, it cannot be related to the elections, ”Shoranov said.
According to him, this is a consequence of non-compliance with quarantine measures during the New Year holidays.
“At the end of last year, we issued warnings. They told people to keep social distance, wear masks and celebrate the new year only with their family. What we are seeing now is the result of non-compliance with these rules," he said.
