According to Gulf News, one of UAE's banks will use only its own crypto-currency and finance only the deals associated with the arts items.
"I believe this initiative will help to integrate arts in the digital world.... Besides that creation and launch of the local crypto currency will positively affect the economy of emirate," said Latifa bint Muhammad bin Rashid al-Maktum, deputy head of culture and arts agency of Dubai.
