Disabled people to be taught digital literacy in Nur-Sultan

Astana. June 24. KazTAG - Disabled people will be taught digital literacy in Nur-Sultan.
"In terms of interaction with non-governmental organizations we are performing the project of digital education for disabled people, that is what we need now," said Ilya Skub, head of department for coordination of social employment institutions and social protection of Nur-Sultan.
In his words, within the frameworks of Digital Kazakhstan program, a big part of state services has been transferred into the electronic format.
"There is an interesting project which might help to get a big spectrum in this category of people," he said.
The session covered the problem of TV programs availability for the disabled people.
"Programs are translated into the sign language at the republican and local TV channels, but, unfortunately, for example, TV series which are interesting for people are no translated. It would be useful to add information content for people with poor eyesight," he added.
