District deputy akim and state inspector suspected of bribery in Karaganda region
Astana. September 12. KazTAG - Deputy akim of Zhanaarka district and state inspector of the Department of labour inspection of the Karaganda region are suspected of bribe taking in the Karaganda region, reports the agency for corruption combat.
"Investigation has been initiated in respect of officials of the akimat and labour inspection in the Karaganda region. Deputy akim of Zhanaarka district-chairman of the land commission is suspected of getting 200 000 bribe for provision of long-term land area. State inspector of the labour inspection department of the Karaganda region is suspected of getting 20 000 bribe for issuance of certificate on education of labour safety and security in the companies without examinations," reads the message.
Pretrial investigation is underway.
