The contractors of Karazhanbas oil field claim to raise their salary by 100%.
"We get 78 000 tenge for 15 days of work. This sum is too small. Prior to the strike we had been negotiating increase of salary with the management, but all they do is just promising. We had to suspend our work. There are 162 people of us and we operate about 180 items of special techniques. We will be on strike until they increase our salary. If they dismiss us, we don't mind. We are waiting for our management and the deputy akim of Fort-Schevchenko to arrive," said the workers of Mobil Service Group Ltd.
